How can I get personalized help from you?
I have a policy of not just handing out specific lactation info
without proper background history on mom and baby.
General advice is just that: general advice. But if you are having
a problem more specific instructions are needed. As a professional
providing Internet support, I have learned that it's best to get
all the information up front. I have had few cases where it took
several emails to get all the information needed.
I am now sending all mothers requesting individualized help an
ichart [Internet chart] to fill out. It's lengthy but it will
serve its purpose well. I have made arrangements to guard and
store the icharts off my hard drive to protect your privacy.
The ichart will expedite the entire information gathering process.
Getting a complete history helps me identify any problems by asking
the same types of questions an LC asks at an office appointment.
The ichart will also tell me if you need to see your physician
or local LC.
If you are willing to fill out the ichart please, let me know
an I will send you one via email.
